The Ship -Tones – If You Wanna (Vaccines Reggae Mix)

Vaccines were another one of those bands whose debut album really excited me, however, when posed with the question “What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?” I couldn’t help but answer more.

This is the more. Cribs’ Guitar Technician’s project The Ship-Tones have reggae refixed the Vaccines’ “If You Wanna” (Unfortunately climaxing just short of the summer) and really livened up the disappointing repetitive style the Vaccines employ…

My review of The Vaccines’ “Come Of Age” will be up later today.

Everything Everything – Cough Cough

The return of Everything Everything will be pleasant news for many, their first album went down a treat and “Cough Cough” has already racked up a lot of views. Their distinctive style is back once more, below:

Palma Violets – Best of Friends // MUSIC VIDEO

NME have been creating a lot of hype for this track by the relatively new band Palma Violets claiming it is “the catchiest guitar song in years”. I’m not quite sure I agree but I enjoy it nonetheless:

Calvin Harris Feat. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing

No Doubt this will be the next huge dance track from Calvin here it is below…

MellowHype – La Bonita // MUSIC VIDEO

Odd Future’s Left Brain & Hodgy Beats, aka MellowHype have just released a video to their track “La Bonita”. It has immediately become one of my favourite tracks from the duo’s project. Left Brain’s flow in the first verse is something to be admired his effortless talent really kicks off this song and the track really gets going when Hodgy soars. His verse is fire, just amazing.Overall this song highlights the best of MellowHype with fantastic production. Me Gusta:

3 Leaked Lana Del Rey Tracks

I unfortunately was not pulled into the Lana craze.  I’m not a huge fan, especially her live performance, but to those of you at Reading & Leeds who will be going to  watch I say: ‘Brace yourself and good luck’. However, I also dedicate this post to you as I have very minimal interest in it myself:

Lana Del Rey has had 3 new unheard tracks leaded out online “The Big Bad Wolf”, “Playing Dangerous” & “Afraid”. I must say that “Playing Dangerous” does do something for me a little bit more than the drone of ‘Born to Die’ did though not quite as much as her guest vocals of A$AP Rocky’s song ‘Ridin’. So to all those fans of Lana, here they are:

New Remix: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – Household Goods (Zeds Dead Remix)

Now, I have a deep hatred for all things dubstep however, Zeds Dead have actually done a fairly good job on their remix of my favourite TEED song, “Household Goods”. This is definitely going to bring the public eye on TEED following Zeds Dead “Unda Ya Skirt” success. But thank the lord this remix is not ruined by the heavy bass and the D&B element Zed seems to frequently employ. This remix is actually a nice reminder that Zeds Dead have got a good record for remixes, remember Blue Foundation’s “Eyes On Fire”  (The song from Twilight), well Zed remixed this and actually added a pretty sweet beat (BACK WHEN DUBSTEP WAS “COOL”) that is linked below the new “Household Goods” remix.

and here is the untampered with Household Goods (original video not re-release which will be coming soon)
