Odd Future’s Left Brain & Hodgy Beats, aka MellowHype have just released a video to their track “La Bonita”. It has immediately become one of my favourite tracks from the duo’s project. Left Brain’s flow in the first verse is something to be admired his effortless talent really kicks off this song and the track really gets going when Hodgy soars. His verse is fire, just amazing.Overall this song highlights the best of MellowHype with fantastic production. Me Gusta:

in Album Streams Tags: album stream, beacon, leaked, sleep alone, tourist history, two door cinema club
When I first heard Two Door cinema club 4 years ago at the Underage festival I was amazed. I thought they were brilliant and so unique and different. They were, however, each song of theirs was not unique and different from the status quo and as soon as the cat on the album cover of “Tourist History” reared it’s little head I wanted to kill them. What were they thinking?! I thought they had so much promise. They through it all away for the safe option of popularity they did not take one risk. Once again I cannot dispute they deserved to be signed their live performances still somehow drag me in, but their albums just bore me to death.
They have released a stream of their upcoming album “Beacon”, it leaked onto the internet long ago but I could think of nothing worse than bringing back all the disappointment I felt when “Tourist History” was released so I will allow you to judge for yourselves here is “Beacon”:

All I can say for it at the moment is that the songs seem to vary a bit in sound. I think they have tried to employ a bit of Bombay Bicycle Club and Maccabee’s to their album, listen out for it…

in New Tracks Tags: Dubstep, Household Goods, Remix, TEED, totally enormous extinct dinosaurs, Trouble, Zeds Dead
Now, I have a deep hatred for all things dubstep however, Zeds Dead have actually done a fairly good job on their remix of my favourite TEED song, “Household Goods”. This is definitely going to bring the public eye on TEED following Zeds Dead “Unda Ya Skirt” success. But thank the lord this remix is not ruined by the heavy bass and the D&B element Zed seems to frequently employ. This remix is actually a nice reminder that Zeds Dead have got a good record for remixes, remember Blue Foundation’s “Eyes On Fire” (The song from Twilight), well Zed remixed this and actually added a pretty sweet beat (BACK WHEN DUBSTEP WAS “COOL”) that is linked below the new “Household Goods” remix.
and here is the untampered with Household Goods (original video not re-release which will be coming soon)
